Terms of Service
Last updated: June 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ExitPage.one and related services (the "Service"), operated by ExitPage ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, using the dashboard, publishing a page, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ExitPage.one lets founders, teams, and businesses create and host public pages that explain a product shutdown, pause, transition, maintenance event, domain redirect, or similar status update. Pages may be hosted on exitpage.one subdomains, fallback URLs, or connected custom domains.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping credentials secure, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including product names, logos, page text, contact details, links, and images. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, cache, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Published pages are public by design. Do not publish personal data, confidential information, third-party logos, trademarks, copyrighted material, or sensitive information unless you have the right and lawful basis to do so.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful, honest communication about a product, service, project, or organization you own or are authorized to represent. You may not:
- Impersonate another person, company, government body, or product.
- Publish false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
- Use the Service for phishing, malware, spam, credential collection, scams, or harmful redirects.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, consumer protection, or data protection rights.
- Publish special-category personal data, payment data, passwords, private keys, or other highly sensitive data.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or target people or groups unlawfully.
- Interfere with security, availability, rate limits, or technical measures of the Service.
We may remove content, disable pages, suspend accounts, or refuse service where we reasonably believe these Terms, law, or third-party rights are being violated.
5. Paid plans, Creem, and taxes
ExitPage offers a free plan and paid one-time plans. Paid plans unlock features such as additional pages, templates, analytics, custom styling, no ExitPage branding, and export where available.
"One-time" means we do not charge recurring subscription fees for that purchase. It does not mean ownership of the Service, a transferable license, or a guarantee that the Service will operate permanently.
Payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. Creem may be the seller of record for payment, tax, invoicing, fraud prevention, and customer payment support. Your checkout may also be subject to Creem's own terms and privacy notices.
Prices, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. We may change prices for future purchases, but changes do not retroactively affect a purchase already completed.
6. EU and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable rights you may have under consumer protection, data protection, or other mandatory law in your country of residence.
If you are an EU, EEA, or UK consumer, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance purchases. Because paid ExitPage features are digital services/content made available immediately, the checkout may ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement that this may cause you to lose the withdrawal right once performance begins, as permitted by applicable law.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Statutory rights always take precedence over our policy. If something goes wrong, contact [email protected] with your order details.
8. Free plan attribution
Free plan pages may display ExitPage attribution. You may not remove, hide, alter, or obscure that attribution unless your plan allows it.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features where needed for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or product changes.
When we describe pages as hosted "forever" or available for the "life of the Service", we mean that we do not set an automatic expiration date for published pages and currently intend to keep them available while ExitPage.one operates. We cannot guarantee permanent availability. If we discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and export options.
10. Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account from settings where available or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes associated pages from the active Service, subject to backups, legal retention, and payment/tax records.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for users or the Service, or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to fix the issue.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, templates, interface, software, design, and brand elements are owned by ExitPage or its licensors. Except as allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create a competing service using our protected materials.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not affect warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss of data. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
14. Indemnity
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you agree to defend and indemnify ExitPage against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms. This section does not apply to consumers where prohibited by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of ExitPage, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by courts with competent jurisdiction unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
